How we work

We’re always looking for new ways to provide assistance to people who are living with disability.  Funding equipment that makes daily life a little bit easier is just one of the many ways we do this. We know how much of a difference a simple, yet often expensive piece of equipment can make.

The types of equipment that we have already helped fund include, but are not limited to; specialist cooking equipment, AFOs, specialist seating, walking frames, modified bicycles, wheelchairs and bath chairs. We know how much of a difference these simple, yet expensive pieces of equipment can make.

Since the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the LyceumGroup Foundation remains committed to filling the gap in equipment funding for those individuals and families who fall outside of the NDIA’s funding guidelines. Apply for Funding

We face the everyday reality that the need for equipment often outweighs the funds that we have available. Here at the LyceumGroup Foundation, we set specific guidelines to make sure that we have fair and reasonable allocation of funds. Here is the documentation that we need if you would like to apply for funding:

A support/prescription letter from an appropriate allied health professional such as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.

A formal quote from a recognised supplier outlining the equipment needed and its full cost.

Email your application to Foundation@lyceumgroup.com.au or post to PO Box 228, Glebe, NSW, 2037.
Please be advised that your application will then be referred to our funding allocation committee, who make decisions about allocation and priority on our wait list.
